Floating Dock Structure

Roofing colors, panel patterns, and layout can be one of the most important decisions you'll need to consider when designing your floating dock. The roof layout sets your dock apart from other neighboring docks. The roof layout also helps to stabilize your floating dock. Columns or uprights add strength, while roof yokes can add a feeling of open space in between the columns or uprights as well as strength. Liberty docks can help you design this important element with your budget and needs in mind. Our roofing manufacturers offer a variety of colors, tensile strength and warranties. Your imagination is your only limitation!

Columns are normally made out of hot-dipped galvanized square tubing. Gator Shield Pre-Galvanized columns are available as well. Either process will protect against rust and erosion for years to come. No cutting or drilling on columns is allowed after they have been galvanized. Roof Yokes are all custom made and are also hot-dipped galvanzied.

PBR and 7.2 panel are the most common rib patterns for roofing sheets on floating docks. The choice is merely a personal preference most of the time. Both panels are common in 24ga and 26ga tensile strength.
